Who on my f-list can tell me what to do?

I was cleaning up by external drive which was running out of room, and I managed to delete part of my music collection.

Now, the music is on my old iPod (and some is on my newer iPod) How do I get the music FROM my iPod and back onto my computer?

I'm not going to panic over this, because I still have my music on my iPod, so I can listen to it - but I can't sync anything new (and I haven't changed up my iPod music in a few months - so I have a lot that I want to add!) because if I sync then I will lose my music.

So who can save me? I know there's programs out there - but a google search was just overwhelming, and it's not like I can "try" something to see if it works. Because if it doesn't work, I could lose everything. And we don't want that.

Jen can/will probably help you. She told me about a program to do that and it totally worked...but I must have deleted the link on my computer because I can't find it to tell you what it is.

The program you want to Google is Sharepod, which you run when your ipod is connected and it will copy your stuff back to your hard drive. Very handy, saved my butt a time or three.
