I'm stressed ...

... which means I'm hungy. Even though I'm really not. Because I ate a healthy breakfast, and it isn't lunchtime yet, and I could have my snack - but I don't want my snack ... I want unhealthy junk food!

:(

Day one of healty eating sucks!

When I'm on a health kick, my little trick for overcoming "false hunger" is to drink a glass of water. You kill two birds with one stone - it gets rid of the hunger because it fills up your stomach, and increasing your water intake is always a good thing, too!

Of course, I'm sitting here drinking my hazelnut coffee with cream & sugar...clearly I'm NOT on a health kick at the moment. :P

Good luck!

I hear you. If it's salt you are craving, believe it or not celery usually does the trick.

I agree with Kathi - don't give in or you will feel terrible. I know every time I do the late-night run for potato chips and coke, I feel terrible the next day (not only physically but also psychologically, from the lack of will-power).

stick to your (healthy) guns.

everytime I give in to my cravings - I feel terrible afterwards...

just keep saying no - hold out until lunch - and then if you are still craving something salty - have just a smidgeon. Enough to satisfy your taste buds.
