Rain, rain, rain
Oct. 29th, 2012 09:51 amWe're all kinds of goofy at work to day. I blame the weather. We all work paperwork based on regions in the U.S. and my team works the Northeast - so we're guessing our paperwork's going to be slow with the pending storm.
I'm in the storm zone, so right now we're just waiting to see what it does here. And what it does to the branches across the storm zone - we're getting updates as to when they're closing, if they're already closed, etc which is nice. I want to get the bulk of my overtime for the week done today, but if it starts to get bad, or if the storm moves up here faster than it's scheduled to I may just leave on time. Even if leaving on time means I'll end up spending Saturday morning at the office.
But right now the bulk of the storm isn't suppose to hit here until 10pm (hopefully it doesn't know the power out while Castle is on!) so I'll be home by then. But I keep checking it to be sure. We're all super alert here, and I think if it starts moving faster and the time it's suppose to get here is moved up, they'll make us go home.
In other news - while I'm not doing nano, I do think that for November I'm going to try to do every daily prompt at
dailyprompt. That'll at least get me writing, but there's no minimum word count that I'm going to feel the need to do each day as long as I write something
And now, it's back to work, and back to waiting for the storm.
